Biography

Marius Augustus Glaeser was born on 19 Sep 1890.

He was the son of Louis Philip Glaeser and Maria Jacoba Hablutzel.

He married Gladys Mary Franklin on 10 Feb 1920 at St James Church, Worcester, Cape Province, South Africa. She was born on 2 Jun 1892. She died on 11 Mar 1979 at the age of 86.

They had one child: Lawrence George Glaeser.

He died on 1 Mar 1982 at the age of 91.

He was buried in 1982 at De Wet Cemetery, Worcester, Cape Colony.
