Lawrence George Glaeser was born in 1924.

He was the son of Marius Augustus Glaeser and Gladys Mary Franklin.

He married Joan Olive May McNaughton on 9 Jun 1951 at St Johns Church, Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa. She was born on 6 Jan 1925. She died on 17 Jul 1989 at the age of 64.

They had one child: Living.

He died on 23 May 1991 at Natal, South Africa.
