Joan Olive May McNaughton was born on 6 Jan 1925.

She married Lawrence George Glaeser on 9 Jun 1951 at St Johns Church, Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa. Lawrence George was the son of Marius Augustus Glaeser and Gladys Mary Franklin. He was born in 1924. He died on 23 May 1991 at Natal, South Africa.

They had one child: Living.

She died on 17 Jul 1989 at the age of 64.

She was buried in 1989 at Stellawood Cemetery, Durban, Natal.
