Biography

Maria Jacoba Hablutzel was born on 2 Jan 1859.

She was the daughter of Coenraad Hablutzel and Sara Marijna Wolhuter.

She married Louis Philip Glaeser on 18 Aug 1879 at Worcester, Cape Colony, South Africa. Louis Philip was the son of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur. He was born on 19 Mar 1856. He died on 24 Jun 1932 at 46 Moore Street, Campsie, New South Wales, Australia at the age of 76.

They had 6 children: Sarah Glaeser, Louis William Glaeser, Wilhelmina Elizabeth Glaeser, Johanna Elizabeth Glaeser, Robina Rykie Glaeser and Marius Augustus Glaeser.

She died on 24 Feb 1929 at Worcester, Cape Province, South Africa at the age of 70.

She was buried in 1929 at De Wet Cemetery, Worcester, Cape Colony.
