Biography

Robina Rykie Glaeser was born on 19 Mar 1888.

She was the daughter of Louis Philip Glaeser and Maria Jacoba Hablutzel.

She was also known as Rubina Rykie.

She married Charles William Upchurch on 5 Mar 1919 at Dutch Reformed Church, Three Anchor Bay, Cape Town, Cape, South Africa. He was born on 4 Aug 1872. He died on 9 Dec 1956 at the age of 84.

She died on 6 Mar 1971 at the age of 82.

She was buried in 1971 at De Wet Cemetery, Worcester, Cape Colony.
