She was the daughter of Lionel Ellis Diack and Dorothy Blakey.

She married Colin Robson Kirk on 20 Nov 1948 at St Marks Presbyterian Church, Yeoville, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa. He was born on 10 Feb 1921. He died on 27 Oct 2005 at Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa at the age of 84.

She married Joseph Wilfred Noel Sharpe after 1961. He was born on 3 Nov 1909. He died on 21 Oct 1970 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 60.

She died on 26 May 1987 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 58.
