Juanita Phoebe van Gelder was born about 1868.

She married Alfred Matthew Diack. Alfred Matthew was the son of Alexander Diack and Agnes Ellis. He was born on 7 Mar 1860 at St Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died on 10 Jun 1900 at Botha's Pass, Natal, South Africa at the age of 40.

They had 2 children: Lionel Ellis Diack and Yolande Emily Diack.

She married Charles Frederick Hendrickse on 29 Apr 1901 at Norvals Pont, Colesberg, Cape Colony.

She died on 12 Jun 1901 at Refugee Camp Hospital, Norvalspont, Orange Free State.
