She married Lionel Ellis Diack on 15 Nov 1920. Lionel Ellis was the son of Alfred Matthew Diack and Juanita Phoebe van Gelder. He was born on 23 Aug 1895. He died on 29 Feb 1980 at the age of 84.

They had 3 children: Alastair Ellis Diack, Shirley Ellis Diack and Lionel Ellis Diack.

She died on 24 Oct 1985 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 86.
