William Nicholas Glaeser was born on 18 Mar 1865.

He was the son of John Christian Glaeser and Elizabeth Catherina Vos.

He was also known as Willem Nicolaas Glaeser.

He was christened on 23 Apr 1865 at Tulbagh, Cape, South Africa.

He married Anna Maria Fredrieka Abel on 26 Jun 1888 at Lichtenburg, Transvaal. She was born on 24 Aug 1863 at Cape Town, Cape Colony. She died on 3 Feb 1927 at Zeerust, Marico, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 63.

They had 4 children: Elizabeth Henrietta Glaeser, Marie Dora Glaeser, Willis Icohme Glaeser and Johan Christian Glaeser.

He died on 2 Jun 1923 at Zeerust, Marico, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 58.
