Anna Maria Fredrieka Abel was born on 24 Aug 1863 at Cape Town, Cape Colony.

She married William Nicholas Glaeser on 26 Jun 1888 at Lichtenburg, Transvaal. William Nicholas was the son of John Christian Glaeser and Elizabeth Catherina Vos. He was born on 18 Mar 1865. He died on 2 Jun 1923 at Zeerust, Marico, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 58.

They had 4 children: Elizabeth Henrietta Glaeser, Marie Dora Glaeser, Willis Icohme Glaeser and Johan Christian Glaeser.

She died on 3 Feb 1927 at Zeerust, Marico, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 63.
