She was the daughter of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur.

She was also known as Minnie Glaeser.

She married George Charles Stanley Foster on 13 Aug 1885 at Cape Town, Cape Colony. George Charles Stanley was the son of Joseph Frederick Schonnberg Foster and Maria Charlotte Shawe. He died on 15 Oct 1915 at Kimberley, Cape Province, South Africa.

They had 5 children: Lillian Foster, Ethel Foster, George Graham Foster, Doreen Stanley Foster and Vivien Stanley Foster.

She died on 17 Oct 1946 at Thornton House, Kenilworth Road, Kenilworth, Wynberg, Cape, South Africa at the age of 80.
