George William Henry Glaeser was born on 23 Feb 1852.

He was the son of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur.

He was christened on 21 Apr 1852 at Lutheran Church, Cape Town, South Africa.

He married Mathilda Enrica Proksch on 21 Apr 1880 at St John's, Lydenburg, Transvaal, South Africa. Mathilda Enrica was the daughter of Francis Joseph Proksch. She was born on 23 Sep 1860 at Long Island, U.S.A.. She died on 15 Aug 1909 at Zoutpansberg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 48.

They had 5 children: Louis Victor Emanuel Glaeser, Amalia Angelica Leonie Glaeser, Wilhelmina Elizabeth Glaeser, Frank George Le Sueur Glaeser and Egidius Benedictus Glaeser.

He married Christine Theodora Ackermann on 19 Apr 1910 at Potchefstroom, Transvaal, South Africa. She was born in Jul 1857. She died on 22 Nov 1937 at 12 Kritzinger Avenue, Brakpan, Transvaal, South Africa.

He died on 11 Mar 1936 at Middelburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 84.
