Margaret Elizabeth Cameron was born on 5 Jan 1865.

She was the daughter of James (Jim) Cameron and Elizabeth Johanna du Plooy.

She was christened on 12 Feb 1865 at Wesleyan Chapel, Bloemfontein.

She married Clarence David McMaster on 3 Jun 1913 at St Augustine, Thaba Nchu , Bloemfontein, OFS. Clarence David was the son of David John McMaster and Mary Ann Allison. He was born on 28 Mar 1885. He died on 4 Aug 1970 at Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa at the age of 85.

She died on 27 Mar 1918 at Polly's Hotel, Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa at the age of 53.
