Biography

Dorothea Maria Georgina Vos was born on 29 Jul 1852 at Worcester, Cape Colony.

She was the daughter of Hendrik Lodewijk de Lange Vos and Aletta Johanna Sophia Glaeser.

She married John Adams on 10 Oct 1882 at Tulbagh, Cape Colony. He died on 26 Aug 1935 at Terrington Villa, Warrenton, Kimberley, Cape, South Africa.

They had 7 children: Constance Georgina Adams, George Glaeser Adams, Mildred Adams, Dora Terrington Adams, Elizabeth Glaeser Adams, Ida Olivia Adams and John Adams.

She died on 3 Dec 1918 at Warrenton, Kimberley, Cape, South Africa at the age of 66.
