Francois Fleck Glaeser was born on 1 Mar 1871 at Worcester, Cape Colony.

He was the son of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur.

He married Elizabeth Louisa Margaret Hildebrandt on 9 Nov 1892 at Witwatersrand Gold Fields, Johannesburg, Transvaal.

They had 2 children: William Louis Glaeser and Flechen Glaeser.

He died on 21 Feb 1912 at Village Deep Mine, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 40.
