Biography

Marius Augustus Glaeser was born on 13 Mar 1865.

He was the son of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur.

He was christened on 2 Apr 1865 at Lutheran Church, Cape Town, South Africa.

He married Helen Ledingham Strachan on 2 Jan 1896 at St John's Church, Victoria West, Cape, South Africa. She was born between Oct and Dec 1857 at Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales. She died on 14 Sep 1944 at 290 Moore Road, Durban, Natal, South Africa.

He died on 23 Aug 1946 at 185 Bartle Road, Durban. Natal, South Africa at the age of 81.

He was buried in 1946 at Stellawood Cemetery, Durban, Natal, South Africa..
