Biography

Jacobus Johannes Le Sueur Glaeser was born on 12 Sep 1854.

He was the son of Louis William Glaeser and Wilhelmina Elizabeth le Sueur.

He was also known as James Le Sueur Glaeser.

He was christened on 22 Oct 1854 at Lutheran Church, Cape Town, South Africa.

He married Anna Catharina Heatlie on 21 Jun 1877 at Worcester, Cape Colony. Anna Catharina was the daughter of Thomas Tennant Heatlie and Eliza Ann Beeton. She was born on 10 Oct 1855. She died on 21 Feb 1882 at Tulbagh, Cape, South Africa at the age of 26.

They had 3 children: Louis William Glaeser, Thomas Tennant Heatlie Glaeser and James Le Sueur Glaeser.

He died on 7 Sep 1890 at the age of 35.

He was buried on 8 Sep 1890 at Old Dutch Churchyard, Worcester, Cape Colony, Worcester, Cape Colony.
