Annie Dorothy Whipp was born on 7 Jul 1895.

She was the daughter of William Whipp and Annie Maud Simpson.

She married Francis George Walsh on 3 Sep 1922 at Holy Trinity Church, Newcastle, Natal, South Africa. Francis George was the son of Thomas Walsh and Jane Douglas Walker. He was born on 1 Apr 1892. He died on 22 Aug 1951 at Ganton, Newcastle, Natal, South Africa at the age of 59.

They had 3 children: Garnette Marion Walsh, Francis William Walsh and John Frederick Walsh.

She died on 11 Aug 1985 at the age of 90.
