Susan Russell was born on 11 Nov 1833 at Whenu Hou, Codfish Island, Southland, New Zealand.
She was the daughter of John (James) Russell and Tete Mereana Teite.
She was also known as Pokiri Tete.
She married Henry Harwood in 1847. He died in 1849.
She married Josiah James (Joseph) Donaldson on 31 Jan 1850 at Waikouaiti, Otago, New Zealand.
They had one child: Richard Donaldson.
She married Robert Milne. He was born in 1828.
She died on 24 Dec 1907 at Herbert, Otepopo, North Otago, New Zealand at the age of 74.
