Biography

He married Susan Russell on 31 Jan 1850 at Waikouaiti, Otago, New Zealand. Susan was the daughter of John (James) Russell and Tete Mereana Teite. She was born on 11 Nov 1833 at Whenu Hou, Codfish Island, Southland, New Zealand. She died on 24 Dec 1907 at Herbert, Otepopo, North Otago, New Zealand at the age of 74.

They had one child: Richard Donaldson.
