Annie Thirza Catherine Foote was born on 2 Aug 1885 at Pelorus Sounds, New Zealand.

She was the daughter of James David Foote and Emily Augusta Harvey.

She married Meriton Murray Johnson on 7 Aug 1912 at Wilson Bay, Pelorus Sounds, New Zealand. He was born on 30 Aug 1891 at Saville Bay, Marlborough, New Zealand. He died on 27 Jun 1979 at Whangarei, New Zealand at the age of 87.

They had one child: Ethne Doris Johnson.

She died on 14 Jan 1982 at Whangarei, New Zealand at the age of 96.
