Biography

Thirza Rickard Wills was born on 11 May 1826 at Calstock, Cornwall, England.

She was the daughter of James Williams Wills and Betsy Brooming Rickard.

She married Robert Benjamin Foot on 16 Jun 1851 at Wesleyan Chapel, New Plymouth, New Zealand. Robert Benjamin was the son of John Foot and Jane Dugal. He was born on 17 Jan 1811 at Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He died on 30 Dec 1897 at Mahau Sound, Marlborough, New Zealand at the age of 86.

They had one child: James David Foote.

She died on 2 Aug 1882 at Mahau Sound Marlborough at the age of 56.

She was buried at Havelock cemetery, Havelock, Marlborough, New Zealand.
