Mary Low was born on 11 Jul 1840.

She was the daughter of Richard Low and Ellanor (Ellen) Jefferies.

She was christened on 24 Oct 1841 at Eldon, New South Wales, Australia.

She married Robert McIntyre. He was born at Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland.

They had 2 children: Janey McIntyre and James McIntyre.

She immigrated from Lady of the Lake (5th Voyage) to Durban, Colony of Natal on 28 May 1864.

She married Joseph Avery Dearlove on 5 Jun 1865 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa. Joseph Avery was the son of John Dearlove and Mary Williams. He was born in Mar 1828 at St James, Westminster, London, England. He died on 24 Apr 1906 at Commisioner St, Boksburg, Transvaal, South Africa.

They had 9 children: Mary Dearlove, John Dearlove, Jessie Dearlove, Joseph Dearlove, Edith Ann(i)e Dearlove, Walter Henry Lewis Dearlove, Arthur Frederick William Dearlove, Charles Edward Dearlove and Francis Avery Dearlove.

She died on 29 Mar 1887 at Johannesburg, Witwatersrand, Transvaal at the age of 46.
