Margarethe Sidonie Schulz was born on 31 Jul 1860 at Durban, Colony of Natal.

She was the daughter of Theodor Rudolph Julius Schulz and Marie Louisa Anne Nixen.

She married Peter Melchior Carl Hahn on 12 Feb 1880 at Durban, Colony of Natal. He was born about 1850 at Germany. He died on 15 Nov 1912 at Clark Road, Durban, Natal, South Africa.
