She married Theodore Herzel (Tom) Gillman on 15 Aug 1953 at St John's Church, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. Theodore Herzel (Tom) was the son of Hyman Gillman and Elsie Millicent Mary Pow. He was born on 29 May 1924 at Salisbury, Rhodesia. He died on 21 Jan 2014 at Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia at the age of 89.

They had 4 children: Living, Living, Living and Living.
