Horace Thomas Leroni-Stoten was born on 20 Oct 1889 at Edmonton, Middlesex, England.

He was the son of Thomas Lironi-Stoten and Maria Louisa Millie.

He married Magdalena Robina Harker on 4 Dec 1918. Magdalena Robina was the daughter of Robert Charles Herrick Harker and Maria Susanna Terblanche. She was born on 9 Jul 1895. She died on 26 Jan 1952 at Sarnia, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa at the age of 56.

They had 5 children: Isabel Joyce Leroni, Carina Alice Leroni, Janet Norma Leroni-Stoten, Ernest Horatius Leroni Stoten and Justine Annice Leroni-Stoten.

He married Kate Lizzie Jewell.

He died on 9 Mar 1960 at 45a Aliwal Street, Durban, Natal, South Africa at the age of 70.
