She was the daughter of Charles William Norris and Alice Caroline Munro.

She married Mannie Sigfried Frara on 3 Mar 1945 at Catholic Church, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. Mannie Sigfried was the son of Moses Sigfried Frara and Marion Maud Young. He was born about 1922. He died on 11 Aug 1994.

They had 5 children: Living, Living, Living, Living and Living.
