Vera Caroline Alice Norris was born on 9 Jun 1909.

She was the daughter of Charles William Norris and Alice Caroline Munro.

She married Johannes Chrisparus van Tonder on 6 Aug 1932 at Holy Trinity Church, Seaview, Durban, Natal, South Africa. He was born about 1908. He died on 15 Aug 1988.

They had 2 children: Shirley van Tonder and Dalveen van Tonder.

She married Andrew James Brink on 24 Sep 1945 at Durban, Natal, South Africa. He was born about 1888. He died on 26 Jan 1964 at Addington Hospital, Durban, Natal, South Africa.

She died on 1 Aug 1985 at the age of 76.
