Charles William Raymond Norris was born on 2 Aug 1906.

He was the son of Charles William Norris and Alice Caroline Munro.

He was christened on 21 Jan 1907 at All Saints Church, Stanger, Colony of Natal.

He married Muriel Natalie Robertson on 20 Jun 1936 at Sea View, Durban, Natal, South Africa. She was born on 16 Dec 1910. She died on 6 Dec 1983 at the age of 72.

They had 2 children: Mary Robin Norris and Susan Jane Norris.

He died on 24 Oct 1980 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 74.
