Biography

Daniel Jacobus de Wet was born on 14 Nov 1815.

He was the son of Daniel Johannes Jacobus de Wet and Magdalena Elisabeth du Plessis.

He married Susanna Elizabeth Jordaan. She was born on 23 Apr 1817 at Caledon, Cape Colony. She died on 27 Jun 1880 at Robertson, Cape Colony at the age of 63.

They had one child: Jacobus Stephanus de Wet.

He died on 6 Oct 1892 at the age of 76.
