Biography

Susanna Elisabeth du Toit was born on 25 Jan 1767 at Paarl, Cape of Good Hope.

She married Hendrik Christoffel de Wet on 1 Feb 1784 at Tulbagh, Cape of Good Hope. Hendrik Christoffel was the son of Petrus de Wet and Magdalena Fenesie Maree.

They had 6 children: Susanna Magdalena de Wet, Pieter Daniel de Wet, Hendrik Christoffel de Wet, Daniel Johannes Jacobus de Wet, Jacobus Stephanus de Wet and Hester Carolina de Wet.

She died on 9 Oct 1824 at Worcester, Cape Colony at the age of 57.
