Winifred Pearl Munro was born on 17 Jan 1911 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.

She was the daughter of James Davie (Jimmy) Munro and Lilian Kate Wayne.

She married Henry Edward Williams on 14 Feb 1942 at St Elizabeth's Church, Westville, Natal, South Africa. Henry Edward was the son of Percival Langford Williams and Maria Louise Margarethe Rachmann. He was born on 9 Jun 1898 at 61 St Andrew's Street, Durban, Colony of Natal. He died on 24 Jan 1967 at Grey's Hospital, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa at the age of 68.

They had 2 children: Clive Langford Williams and Living.

She died on 7 May 1970 at Natal, South Africa at the age of 59.
