She was the daughter of Jeffrey Thomas Hugh Raine and Denise Cowen.

She married Michael Gordon Munro. Michael Gordon was the son of Gordon Knowles Munro and Gladys Ella (Sella) Low. He was born on 25 Oct 1955 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. He died on 16 Jun 2023 at 10 Crown Eagle Place, Kloof. Durban. Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 67.
