Margaret Maud Hahn was born on 18 May 1927 at Wyebank, New Germany, Natal, South Africa.

She was the daughter of Karl Oscar Jack Hahn and Marie Luise Woods.

She was christened on 7 Mar 1928 at St Johns Church, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.

She married Neville Arthur Browne. Neville Arthur was the son of Charles Albert Browne and Dorothy Amy Hughes. He was born on 10 May 1923. He died on 15 Oct 2015 at Village of Golden Harvest, Sand Bay, Western Cape, South Africa at the age of 92.

They had 4 children: Richard John Browne, Living, Living and Living.

She died on 24 Mar 2000 at Durban North, Durban, kwa-Zulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 72.
