Peter Diack was born on 15 May 1799 at Rayne, Aberdeen, Scotland.
He was the son of Patrick (Peter) Diack and Elizabeth Catherine Henderson.
He married Anne Leys on 24 Jul 1825 at Kirkton of Rayne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She was born about 1799. She died on 4 Dec 1865.
They had 8 children: Peter Diack, Alexander Diack, James Diack, Robert Diack, John Diack, William Diack, John Cushny Diack and Peter Diack.
He died on 28 Dec 1875 at Schoolbow, Scotland at the age of 76.
