Jacobus Johannes le Sueur was born in 1834.

He was the son of Jacobus Johannes Petrus le Sueur and Rykje Catharina Arnoldina Fischer.

He married Margaretha Elisabeth de Wet. Margaretha Elisabeth was the daughter of Johannes Carolus de Wet and Catharina Aletta Zeederberg. She was born in Nov 1842 at Cape Town, Cape Colony. She died on 30 Nov 1929 at Kloof Road, Sea Point, Cape Town, Cape, South Africa.

He died on 1 Jul 1872.
