Ryk Arnoldus Cornelis le Sueur was born on 10 Apr 1822.
He was the son of Jacobus Johannes Petrus le Sueur and Rykje Catharina Arnoldina Fischer.
He married Anna Marthina Wilhelmina Mostert on 8 Oct 1845 at Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa. She was born on 23 Oct 1826 at Mowbray, Goodwood, Cape Town, Cape Colony, South Africa. She died on 12 Aug 1900 at Cape Town, Cape Colony at the age of 73.
They had 9 children: Rykie Catharina le Sueur, Petrus Ludovicus le Sueur, Jacobus Johannes le Sueur, Maria le Sueur, Wiliam le Sueur, Anna le Sueur, Francois le Sueur, Helena Maria Gertruida le Sueur and Geesje Wilhelmina le Sueur.
