She was the daughter of Walter Palmer Brookshaw and Emily Charlotte Wallis.

She married Edmund Ernest Rudman. Edmund Ernest was the son of James Rudman and Mary Thompson. He was born about Jul 1885. He died on 19 Aug 1954 at Ladybrand, Orange Free State, South Africa.

They had one child: Deidre Elizabeth Joy Rudman.

She died on 20 Aug 1984.
