Biography

She married Michiel Smuts on 13 May 1838 at Swartland, Malmsbury Cape of Good Hope. Michiel was the son of Michiel Nicolaas Smuts and Maria Magdalena van der van der Byl. He was born on 22 Apr 1813. He died on 2 Oct 1853 at the age of 40.

They had one child: Jacobus Abraham Smuts.
