She was also known as Jean Davidson.
She married Christopher Swales on 21 Dec 1877 at Durban, Colony of Natal.
They had one child: Percy Peter John Swales.
She died on 29 Jan 1906 at Sea View Cottage, Pinetown, Colony of Natal.
