Biography

He married Jane Elizabeth Christina Davidson on 21 Dec 1877 at Durban, Colony of Natal. Jane Elizabeth Christina was the daughter of Peter Patrick Johnstone Davidson and Catherine Margaret Lange. She died on 29 Jan 1906 at Sea View Cottage, Pinetown, Colony of Natal.

They had one child: Percy Peter John Swales.
