Emily Frances Ann McMaster was born on 23 Jun 1846 at Grahamstown, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa.
She was the daughter of David John James McMaster and Jane Margaret Pinchin Webber.
She married Richard Bands on 7 May 1870 at Seymour, Stockenstroom, Cape of Good Hope. He was born about 1832.
She died on 14 Aug 1935 at Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia at the age of 89.
