Georgina Clarissa McMaster was born on 11 Aug 1843 at Grahamstown, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa.

She was the daughter of David John James McMaster and Jane Margaret Pinchin Webber.

She married William Patrick Thomson in 1873 at Kimberley, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. He was born on 17 Aug 1850 at Glasgow, Scotland. He died on 21 Aug 1892 at Winburg, Free State, South Africa at the age of 42.

She died on 13 Nov 1926 at Parys, Free State, South Africa at the age of 83.
