Sandra Poynton was born on 24 Feb 1944.

She was the daughter of Guy Leslie Poynton and Agnes Hunter Dryden.

She married Norman Taylor on 14 Dec 1974. He was born on 29 Jul 1916. He died on 19 Aug 1997 at Durban North, Durban, kwaZulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 81.

She died on 23 Jul 1986 at the age of 42.
