She was born on 28 Jan 1876 at Umgeni, Durban, Colony of Natal. She died on 15 Jun 1946 at Johannesburg General Hospital, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 70.
They had 3 children: Alexander Hunter Munro Dryden, Margaret Selina (Peggy) Dryden and Agnes Hunter Dryden.
He immigrated from Inanda, from London to Natal on 7 Nov 1905.
