Biography

Johannes Carolus de Wet was born in Mar 1709.

He was the son of Jacobus de Wet and Christina Bergh.

He married Maria Magdalena Blankenberg on 26 Oct 1732. Maria Magdalena was the daughter of Johannes Blankenberg and Catharina Baumann. She was born in 1712.

They had 10 children: Jacobus Johannes de Wet, Catharina Christina de Wet, Christina Jacoba de Wet, Johannes Matthias de Wet, Olof Godlieb de Wet, Catharina Jacoba de Wet, Johanna Hillegonda de Wet, Frederik Wilhelm de Wet, Maria Magdalena de Wet and Hendrik Justinus de Wet.

He died on 1 May 1748.
