She was the daughter of Sebastian Valentin Scheller and Gesina Frank.

She married Hendrik Cloete on 9 Jul 1780 at Cape, South Africa. Hendrik was the son of Hendrik Cloete and Hester Anna Lourens.

They had 7 children: Hester Anna Cloete, Hendrik Cloete, Gesina Wilhelmina Cloete, Sibelle Catharina Cloete, Sebastian Valentijn Cloete, Jacob Pieter Cloete and Johan Gerhard Cloete.
