She was the daughter of George Coenraad Kuchler and Anna Jacomina Fischer.

She married Christoffel Joseph Brand on 30 Sep 1822 at Cape Town, Cape, South Africa. Christoffel Joseph was the son of Jan Hendrik Brand and Wilhelmina Catharina le Sueur. He was born on 21 Jun 1797 at Cape Town, Cape, South Africa. He died on 19 May 1875 at Cape Town, Cape, South Africa at the age of 77.

They had one child: Johannes Henricus Brand.

She died on 6 Jul 1868 at South Africa.
