Biography

Helena van Ruyven was born at Arnhem, Holland.

She married Hendrik Swellengrebel on 20 Mar 1755 at Oosterbeek, nr Arnhem, Holland. Hendrik was the son of Johannes Swellengrebel and Johanna Cruse. He was born on 26 Sep 1700 at Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope. He died on 26 Dec 1760 at Utrecht, Netherlands at the age of 60.

She died on 21 May 1804 at Utrecht, Netherlands.
