Biography

Helena Wilhelmina Ten Damme was born on 26 Jun 1706.

She was the daughter of Willem Ten Damme and Helena Gulix.

She married Hendrik Swellengrebel on 15 Nov 1727. Hendrik was the son of Johannes Swellengrebel and Johanna Cruse. He was born on 26 Sep 1700 at Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope. He died on 26 Dec 1760 at Utrecht, Netherlands at the age of 60.

They had 8 children: Johannes Willem Swellengrebel, Helena Swellengrebel, Barbara Swellengrebel, Johanna Engela Swellengrebel, Hendrik Swellengrebel, Willem Maurits Swellengrebel, Claudina Constantia Swellengrebel and Ertman Balthasar Swellengrebel.

She died on 30 Dec 1746 at the age of 40.
